Dr. Leah Thomsen
Dr. Leah is originally from Everly, Iowa. She attended Luther College, where she majored in biology and played on the varsity volleyball and softball teams. In February of 2007 she completed her studies and received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree with honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. After graduation she worked at a large clinic in Kansas City, Kansas. Following that experience, Dr. Leah moved to Topeka, Kansas and had been working there until the opportunity came up to move back to Iowa. Dr. Leah's mother and father still live on the family farm in northwest Iowa. She has three younger brothers and one sister-in-law. Her brothers live in Van Horne and Iowa Falls. Dr. Leah utilizes a holistic approach to chiropractic, incorporating proper nutrition and exercise into her care. She provides not only chiropractic care, but also nutritional evaluations, detoxification programs, and weight management programs. In her free time, Dr. Leah enjoys playing sports, specifically volleyball, basketball and softball. She also enjoys traveling and visiting family and friends.
Dr. Lee Malmstrom Dr. Lee was born and raised in Topeka, KS along with an older sister. He graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 2000 and then attended the University of Kansas for his undergraduate studies. He moved to Davenport, Iowa following his junior year to pursue a degree in chiropractic at Palmer College. In October of 2006, he became a third generation Palmer graduate, after both his grandfather (class of 1952) and father (class of 1979). Upon graduation he returned to Kansas and began work in the family clinic. He was an active member of the Kansas Chiropractic Association and President of the Northeast District. After only 20 months in practice he was recognized by the Topeka Capital Journal in their annual "Best of Topeka" section as one of the best chiropractors in the city. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and golf and tries to stay as active as possible. An avid sports fan, he cheers on the Kansas Jayhawks and, with less success, the Royals and Chiefs.
